Hedi has painted in many mediums but over the last years she has exclusively concentrated on works in watercolor, particularly expressive, colorful portraits. These portraits are based on realism; combined with loose brush work, they capture the essence of the subjects. Hedi also paints landscapes, often with architectural elements, and she considers those also as "portrait" work.
